I've already expressed my compulsion for B. Goods cookies a while back, but I now have a little update to share. B. Goods has just launched a NEW gluten-free cookie! And, it is super delish! The flavour is Orange Hazelnut, and it is deliciously crunchy on the outside and soft and melty on the inside. Plus, it has big ol’ chunks of hazelnut inside as well as hazelnut pieces sprinkled on the outside. Oh my!
I am not usually a fan of orange-flavoured baked goods, so I was a little bummed when I first heard the rumours that this new cookie was being developed. BUT, I must say that all of my orange cookie doubts disappeared when I tasted it. Oh man, it is so so tasty! I think it has even replaced my former favorite, the Cinnamon Kasha cookie. Go try it! Really.You can always find B. Goods’ cookies at the Herb and Spice on Bank Street, Market Organics in the Byward Market, as well as various cafes. B. Goods is also a regular vendor at the Main Street Farmer’s Market, open every Saturday from 9am – 2pm from early May until the end of October.
* Note: B. Goods bakes in a facility that also uses gluten-containing flours, so cross-contamination is always a possibility.
